Did you know ....

• Bulk excavation for Phase 1 was 80,000 cubic meters.  Enough to fill 32 Olympic sized swimming pools!
• During the excavation, 215 trucks with trailers were coming and going every 5 minutes.
• As of March 2011, we had poured 30,000 cubic meters of concrete.  Enough concrete to pave a 6 foot wide sidewalk from Guildford Town Cnetre to Oakridge Centre more than five times!
• Over a kilometer of fencing has been installed around the 16 acre construction site.
• During the first year (June 2010 to May 2011) there were 300,000 man hours completed and 1,335 people have been put through safety orientations.  Estimates for 2,000 safety orientations by the end of Phase 1, which means that many people have been or are still working on this site.
