Accountant

Sugar Burst Candy Store is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations and support business growth. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling statements, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements. You will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking, providing management with valuable financial insights to guide decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least two years of accounting experience (retail experience is an asset). Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the success of a dynamic and growing retail brand.

Pay Range:
$23 – $28 per hour (depending on experience)
